Relaxing at the Beach

Relaxing at the Beach captures a fleeting moment of complete ease beneath a summer sun. An oversized striped hat conceals the sitter's identity, transforming the figure into an anonymous symbol of leisure rather than a conventional portrait. The surrounding beach and sea are intentionally understated, allowing the bold geometry of the hat and the relaxed posture of the figure to become the emotional focus.

Executed with a restrained palette of blues, warm skin tones and pale sand, the painting marks an important step in the artist's development. Earlier technical studies of waves and coastal light are no longer displayed for their own sake but quietly absorbed into a composition whose primary concern is atmosphere and human presence.

Limited edition run of 500 signed fine art paper or canvas over stretched frame reproductions.

This product is unframed, however a wide variety of frames are available on request. The original is acrylic on canvas.
